Can't afford a new car in these tough economic times? How about a car remodel? Changing the way your car looks can be as simple as applying vinyl car graphics to the surface of your car. Car decals can be applied to the hood, windows, side panels, and even the bumpers. The best part is you can do this yourself. Read on to learn how!

Things You Will Need:
Car Graphics
Masking Tape
Soft Cloth
Plastic Squeegee
Chalk
A Freshly Washed Car

Step 1
Pick out your car decals online or at any local sign shop in your area. You will need to know the exact measurements of the area you want to place the graphics on so you can order the proper size. Decide on the colors and fonts you will choose. If you are ordering online you can request a sample from the supplier to make sure that the graphic will match the color of your car. If you are using a sign shop locally take a your car to them and the designer can help you choose the size, font, color,and placement for the decal.

Step 2
Once you have received the proper sized graphics you are ready to begin the installation process. Its time to make sure the surface of you car is washed and squeaky clean. Let your car dry completely to ensure there is no residue of moisture. Do not wax your car as this we hinder the adhesive from sticking to the surface of your car.

Step 3
With the adhesive transfer tape still attached to the graphic, place the graphic into the desired position. You can tack the graphic in place with a little piece of masking tape, this will allow you step back and see if you like the position. Once it is where you like, outline the graphic using chalk. This will will help you keep things aligned when you are adhering the decal to the cars surface.

Step 4
Start with the left upper corner and begin peeling off the paper transfer tape (if you are left handed you might want to start with the upper right hand corner). Make sure you use and your chalk marks as a guide. This will guarantee proper placement and you will be glad you took the time to mark it out.

Step 5
Once you have adhered the upper left hand corner use your left hand to hold the graphic in place as you pull the transfer tape slowly away with your right hand. This is where I like to use the squeegee to gently push out any air bubbles as you go. Make sure that go slow with this process as this will help you avoid wrinkles and creases. Take as much time as you need, remember you are not in a race! Once the transfer tape is removed completely use a soft cloth to rub over the surface of the graphic and push out any remaining air bubbles.

Step 6
Now that the graphic is completely placed remove the masking tape and wipe away the chalk marks using a damp cloth. Do not wash your car for the next few days as you want to give time for the decal to fully adhere. Step back and admire your work for a job well done! Now all of your friends will be wanting you to remodel their car as well.

An important part of your horse's health care needs is for you to develop a partnership with a veterinarian prior to an emergency. You can begin developing a partnership by consulting your veterinarian for your horse's routine and preventive health care.

Your horse should be vaccinated at least once a year. The type of vaccinations your horse requires is determined by age and overall health. Your veterinarian can recommend what vaccinations your horse needs.

In the U.S., you may want to help protect your horse by vaccinating for the West Nile Virus. Contact your veterinarian if you see any of these signs in your horse; loss of appetite, depression, fever, stumbling or tripping, weakness in the legs, impaired vision, wandering or circling, inability to swallow, partial paralysis, head pressing or tilt, inability to stand up, convulsions.

De-worm your horse several times each year. It is recommended to alternate de-worming products and different de-worming classifications (mebendazole, organosphosphate, avermectine, etc.). Most de-wormers must be used every 60 days. Paste de-worming is as effective as tube de-worming. It is best to consult with your veterinarian when establishing a de-worming program.

The old de-worming tubes come in handy to dispense tablets to your horse. Crush the tablets and put into the tube. Add a little bit of water and shake until a paste forms. Then administer it like you would a de-wormer.

Teeth should also be checked once a year. Your horse's teeth may need to be filed due to uneven wear. Symptoms of improper chewing include feed falling from your horse's mouth while chewing, your horse holds its head to one side to chew, wasted feed, excessive slobbering, indigestion, and large amounts of whole grain in the feces. Your horse's teeth may need to be checked if it is starting to take longer to eat its feed. Strong, sour odors from the mouth can be indications of tooth cavities or food particles lodged in the mouth. If you horse eats, but seems to be losing weight, or maybe is not handling as well while riding anymore, then floating (filing) the teeth may be necessary to remove sharp edges that are causing discomfort or making it difficult to grind food.

Keep a first aid kit handy containing items such as diluted iodine solution, hydrogen peroxide, Neosporin, sterile gauze sponges and rolls, self-adhesive tape (vet wrap), blunt-tipped bandage scissors, topical eye ointment, sedative and pain killer. Consult with your veterinarian on what is appropriate to have in the first aid kit. Contact your veterinarian any time your horse appears sick, disoriented, or has been injured.

Many types of mineral and vitamin supplements are on the market. Use commercially prepared supplements and never exceed the recommended levels. If feeding your horse a grain concentrate, check the ingredients. Often the concentrate will provide all the necessary vitamins and minerals your horse needs without needing to add any additional supplement.

Clean your horse's hooves before and after you ride. Examine all hooves frequently for problems. Hooves need to be trimmed regularly. Most horses need to have their hooves trimmed, or shoes reset every six to eight weeks. A qualified farrier can make recommendations for your horse.

There are many different types of adhesive tapes available each made from different materials and designed for different purposes. Adhesive tape is one of the most popular methods for sticking material together although in many cases it is only a temporary method.

Most tape is used to bond a material on to another material by overlapping them, double sided adhesive tape differs. This type of tape has a layer of material on which both sides are coated with an adhesive and not just a single side. Double sided tape has the capability of bonding to surfaces together (on top of each other) this is something single sided tape is not capable of. It is also very strong and the adhesive used is much stronger than that of adhesives like sellotape.

The adhesive laid on to both sides of the tape must be covered with a material otherwise the tape would lose its stickiness... A thin layer of material (often paper or plastic like) is laid on to either side of the tape, when the tape is required you simply peel back both sides of the adhesive covering to reveal the adhesive itself. This layer of material is specially made to peel off easily and not detract from the effectiveness of the adhesive. The other part of the tape is available in many different colours however once peeled back the tape will still be white, due to its double sidedness and the nature in which it is used the tape will not remain visible so colour is not an issue.
